We represent numerous landlords in Westchester and the surrounding counties. We appear regularly in most of the local courts – city, town, and village. Our successful cases have been well documented in quality and quantity and we continue to maintain a preeminent landlord tenant practice.

We represent landlords owning thousands of units and process hundreds of case each month. In that regard Finger & Finger offers one (1) day turn around time on all non-payment cases. This means that within one day of receipt of the relevant information to commence any non-payment cases the three day demand or notice of petition and petition will be completed and submitted for filing and service by the process server. Additionally, all clients receive an immediate notification of any change in status of any pending cases and weekly update with the status of all pending cases.

Clients remain fully informed and abreast of the status of their cases at all times.

In addition to non-payment cases, Finger & Finger process numerous holdover cases each month. These cases vary procedurally but include notices to cure, notice to terminate, combined notices to terminate including notices to cure, month to month termination notices, license termination notices, and the like.
The breadth of our experience in representing many different types of buildings , together with the variety of subsidiary areas of law in which we regularly practice, permits us a unique and singularly effective perspective for the representation of such communities.

The principal attorneys of our firm also write articles for many legal publications. We have written for Impact, the monthly newspaper of the Building and Realty Institute of Westchester County, and have been interviewed and quoted and published by Habitat Magazine. Our lawyers have also spoken at seminars and lectures in matters involving landlord issues, landlord’s rights, landlord-tenant matters, housing co-ops, condominiums and homeowners associations. Our work in this field has been recognized not only through our articles which have been published, but we have been quoted by the Courts in cases of significance.
