The law firm of Finger and Finger was founded in 1974 by Kenneth J. Finger. Currently the firm has four principal lawyers, Kenneth J. Finger, Dorothy M. Finger, Carl L. Finger, and Daniel S. Finger. We are a family law firm, Kenneth and Dorothy are husband and wife, and Carl and Daniel are their sons.

Our lawyers have been actively engaged in community service throughout their careers. Kenneth J. Finger has served as Chairman of the Hospital Board of Westchester County, and has been a candidate for the New York State Supreme Court. He is presently a member of the Westchester County Rent Guidelines Board, having been approved by the Westchester County Board of Legislators and the New York State Division of Housing and Community Renewal.
Attorney Kenneth J. Finger was also a member of the Scarsdale Parks and Recreation Council and the Board of Education Legislative Committee. He served as Co-Chairman of the Scarsdale Advisory Council on Cable TV, was a member of the Scarsdale Cable TV Commission, and is presently a member of the Scarsdale Board of Ethics. He is presently Chief Counsel to the Building and Realty Institute (Building and Realty Institute of Westchester and the Hudson Valley). He handles various landlord-tenant, cooperative / condominium, real estate, litigation, and related matters. He has lectured and written extensively on cooperative, condominium, and landlord-tenant subjects.
Dorothy M. Finger was a Commissioner of the Westchester County Human Rights Commission and also served as a member of the Board of Trustees of the Village of Scarsdale. She served as a member of the Westchester County Tax Commission and was a past member of the Scarsdale Advisory Council for the Disabled. She is currently a member of the Judicial Advisory Committee in Scarsdale, for which she previously served as Chairman, and was also formerly a member of the Scarsdale Board of Ethics.
Carl L. Finger is currently a member of the Conservation Advisory Council and the Town and Village Civic Club in Scarsdale. Previously he was counsel to the Westchester County Board of Legislators' Labor Committee, served on the Environment Committee’s Subcommittee on Long Island Sound and the Public Works' Subcommittee on Sewer Consolidation. He is currently an arbitrator in the White Plains City Court on a pro bono basis. While an Assistant District Attorney in Westchester County he participated in the Prosecutors Reach Out and Safe Smiles programs.
Daniel S. Finger is an associate counsel of the Apartment Owners Advisory Council of the Building and Realty Institute of Westchester and the Hudson Valley. He is also a member of the Lexington Democratic Club and was formerly a member of the Executive Committee. He is a member of the Westchester County Bar Association, the New York State Bar Association, and the Association of the Bar of the City of New York, where he served on the Civil Court Committee. He was a panelist on the Brandeis University Alumni Association Continuing Legal Education program entitled "Legal Ethics: Confronting Everyday Legal Issues."
